The day of Redemption has superseded the day of Creation! The day of recreation or Redemption from the New Testament perspective is the day of Resurrection, which is the first day of the week, the Sunday! That was why the first Christians gathered for worship not on the Saturdays but on Sundays. The day of Redemption – the Resurrection of Christ – has eclipsed the day of Creation. It is very Good - Tuesday, November 03, 2009 (Visits: 256)
God has created secular things (the sun, the moon, the stars, planets, animals, birds, fish, and so on…), and as crown of creation, He also created the Human in His Image. We are writing a gospel a chapter a day by the things that we do and words that we say and people read what we write! We are supposed to be the mobile epistles of our Holy God. We have a God-given privilege combined with responsibility toward other creatures that God created to live alongside with us in His vast world. We are called to be responsible stewards of God’s World. We can neither exalt nature as some do in the world (Romans 1:21-25) nor exploit nature as some others do. What are the practical implications of man being in the image of God? God created all mankind, irrespective of their caste, color, creed or cultural differences, in His image. No one is superior to the other by the virtue of his caste, color, creed or culture. All are equally in His image, wherever you are born, whatever be your social status. We have to accept, welcome and love that diversity God created or else take those issues up with the creator, not with the person who was created. We have to find unity in diversity. Looking down on your fellowman is equal to looking down on the God who created him. Each man is honorable and respectable in the sight of God. (full message)
